Lifting operations involve an extremely high risk of injuries, and therefore such work is governed by a number of legislative acts. Law stipulates that machinery must be regularly inspected; moreover, any machines and lifting accessories must be subject to periodic checks. Vehicle operators must have professional qualifications or respective training.
In addition to the legislation governing the machinery and the operator, there are standards and regulations governing lifting work performed at construction sites. Excerpts from legislation applicable to lifting operations at construction sites are provided in the Annex. The Annex also contains a form pertaining to the post-erection inspection performed at the job site.

For the rental of aerial work platforms or other equipment without an operator, we follow the general terms of machine rentals of the Association of Finnish Technical Traders.
